It’s a great opportunity to apply your expertise and make a meaningful impact early on.”   Wow! I was still in the middle of my onboarding phase and already had the chance to participate in such a big project! It went so well after that.  Freudenberg was my first employer after my career in Audit/ Consulting. So, it was quite a shift from a project-driven business with frequent travel to an office-based “regular” job. To be honest, I was concerned I might get stuck in everyday business. But I quickly learned that at Freudenberg, there’s so much going on. It NEVER gets boring. I didn’t miss my old job - not for one second.  Empowering Women  I also value the flexibility of being able to take on new projects or explore tasks beyond my defined role. While my current position is Director Finance, I’ve had the opportunity to expand my responsibilities and contribute to initiatives outside the traditional scope. Women at Weinheim Lunches. I am part of the organizing team - seven women who came together on International Women’s Day 2022 to launch this initiative. Each month, we reserve a room, invite a keynote speaker, lead discussions and share updates on LinkedIn. Between 30 and 90 women attend each month. They bring their lunch and connect while listening to speakers or engaging in discussion. It’s a great feeling to bring together women from all Freudenberg Business Groups - across ages, education levels, and job backgrounds.
