Job Title: Physician Assistant - Pediatrics CVICU - Travel

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $149.20 per hour / $5371.20 weekly

Shifts: 39hrs/week: 6am - 7pm; 6pm - 7am; 13hr D/N Rotating Shift

Key Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant - Pediatrics CVICU

• Manage patients with congenital heart disease, including complex anatomy and physiology, in a multidisciplinary environment
• Care for high-acuity patients such as pre- and post-operative pediatric cardiac surgical patients and high-risk single ventricle physiology
• Perform arrhythmia management and provide vasopressor support
• Assist with external and internal pacemakers, VA/VV ECMO, and CRRT

Requirements of the Physician Assistant - Pediatrics CVICU

• 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU
• Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program
• Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing
• Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
• BLS from AHA
• PALS from ABA
