Maths Teacher - Coventry

About the role:

Justteachers is looking for a dedicated KS3 & KS4 Mathematics Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Coventry on a full-time, long-term basis from September. This role is expected to last until the end of the academic year with the potential to become permanent.

You’ll join a successful Maths department focused on high achievement and student progress. The school promotes ambition, resilience, and the development of strong numeracy skills for future study and careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging KS3 & KS4 Mathematics lessons in line with the UK curriculum and GCSE specifications
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and achievement in Maths
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and assessment methods to develop mathematical understanding
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting lessons to support all learners
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and intervention programmes

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
