D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Manufacturing & Warehousing Consultant
Contract Length: Initial 6 Months
Day Rate: £450-£500 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Primarily Remote (with occasional travel)
We are currently seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Manufacturing & Warehousing Consultant to join a major international rollout programme. This role will play a key part in replicating, optimising, and deploying an existing D365 F&O manufacturing and warehousing solution currently operating successfully within the organisation's Portugal office.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customise, and support Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Manufacturing and Advanced Warehouse Management modules
- Contribute to solution design, implementation, and deployment activities
- Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and go-live activities
- Collaborate closely with project leadership, business stakeholders, and end users across multiple locations
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution
- Support data migration, process alignment, and localisation requirements where necessary
- Proven experience delivering D365 Finance & Operations Manufacturing implementations
- Strong expertise in Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) within D365 F&O
- End-to-end implementation experience, from discovery and design through to go-live and hypercare
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including production control, planning, shop floor operations, and inventory management
- Experience working within structured project delivery environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Multi-site or multi-country D365 F&O implementation experience
- Manufacturing industry background
- Experience supporting international rollout programmes
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules
- Exposure to AI-enabled delivery tools and methodologies
- Experience working with integrations and third-party warehouse solutions
