About the Role
We are a growing commercial cleaning company looking for a reliable, hands-on Area Manager with an unyielding work ethic to lead our operations. This is a field-based role—not a desk job—requiring you to actively inspect sites, train staff, and ensure exceptional quality every night. We need a leader who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty to get the job done. This role requires a dedicated professional willing to work a flexible schedule—including evenings, weekends, and early mornings—to meet high-quality standards and workload.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of cleaning professionals across multiple locations.
Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all facilities meet or exceed our strict cleanliness standards.
Accountability: Manage employee schedules, monitor attendance, and resolve staffing shortages immediately by reallocating personnel or performing cleaning tasks yourself if necessary.
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for property managers to resolve complaints and ensure total customer satisfaction.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor inventory levels, maintain equipment, and manage labor budgets to ensure profitable operations.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2–5 years of supervisory experience in janitorial services, hospitality, or facility management.
Hands-on Mentality: A willingness to "get in the trenches" and help the team when needed.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to handle emergencies (no-shows, equipment failure) without constant supervision.
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for cleanliness and safety hazards.
Requirements: A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
