We are seeking a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our campground/RV park. This role is responsible for maintaining the grounds, utilities, and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, reliable, and experienced in a variety of maintenance areas, including HVAC systems, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Must be willing to travel to Sneads Ferry.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on campground facilities, including restrooms, showers, cabins, and common areas
Maintain and service HVAC systems, ensuring proper operation, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventative maintenance
Maintain RV sites, including electrical hookups, water lines, sewer connections, and site cleanliness
Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work as needed
Inspect grounds and facilities regularly to identify and address maintenance issues
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues in a professional manner
Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and vehicles used for property upkeep
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
Support seasonal setup and breakdown activities, including site preparation and winterization
Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed and report larger repair needs
Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field required
HVAC experience required; EPA certification or equivalent HVAC certification strongly preferred (or required, depending on your preference)
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment
Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
Physically capable of lifting, bending, walking, and performing manual labor throughout the day
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
Experience working in a campground, RV park, hotel, or similar environment
Knowledge of RV systems (electrical, water, sewer hookups)
Experience operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
Basic understanding of preventative maintenance programs
