Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for a fulfilling EYFS Teaching Assistant role in Liverpool? We are seeking experienced and passionate EYFS Teaching Assistants for our North Liverpool based primary schools.The main purpose of these roles is to work one-to-one with EYFS students with SEN and/or behavioural considerations to help them achieve the most from their educational experience.Main DutiesAssist with a child in class under the direction of the teacher, working primarily in a one-to-one capacity to support with designated tasks in both class lessons and play, and outside of the classroomUnder the direction of the class teacher support learning activities and work with the individual, assisting in the implementation, and monitoring of progress, of individual education programmesAssist with monitoring of progress, pupil observations, and if needed, to liaise with parents under the direction of the class teacherSupport teachers in photocopying and other tasks in preparation and support of teaching the studentWork with class teacher to track progress and the effectiveness of interventions and strategiesBe pro-active in thinking ahead to work with the class teacher and parents to plan adaptations to any changes in the usual school day or school tripsBe proactive in matters relating to health and safety, monitoring and dealing with such things as trip hazards by ensuring equipment is tidied away, and that storage and the learning environments are used appropriatelySubject to appropriate training and certification, administer basic first aid to pupils wherever required during the working day, dealing with any basic accidents and reporting incidentsReact and deal appropriately, in a way that is consistent with the teacher's directions, to the emotional or social behaviours of pupilsAttend relevant in-service training and occasional staff meetingsAt all times set a good example to students in terms of dress, punctuality, attendance and calm, polite behavioursAny other reasonable duties as required by the Head TeacherPersonal QualitiesWe are looking for someone who:Possess energy and enthusiasmWorks well within a teamExperienced within an SEN settingExperience working with students with ASD and ADHD considerationsExperience as a one-to-one Teaching AssistantWill set and achieve high standards and expectations of learning, behaviour, and careEager to develop their skills and abilities To join us and be successful in this role you will need:Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar roleAn enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checksA CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)Legal right to work in the UKIf you're an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity and would like to register with Tradewind Recruitment please apply now and take the next step in your teaching career!
