About the Role

<p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled <strong>Aquatic Project Supervisor</strong> to oversee various water projects in the Phoenix area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling water-related challenges, leading teams, and collaborating with public sector clients.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Manage and supervise water projects from start to finish.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood hazard identification, and FEMA Risk MAP studies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Direct drainage and watershed studies, including Area Drainage Master Studies/Plans (ADMS/ADMPS).</p> </li> <li> <p>Guide the design of stormwater infrastructure, stream stabilization, and flood mitigation projects.</p> </li> <li> <p>Mentor junior staff, review engineering calculations, and deliverables.</p> </li> <li> <p>Engage with clients, attend project meetings, and assist with business development.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop scopes of work, proposals, budgets, and schedules.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct quality assurance/quality control for models, floodplain mapping, and construction documents.</p> </li> <li> <p>Use modeling tools like FLO-2D, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.</p> </li> <li> <p>Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license.</p> </li> <li> <p>At least 8 years of experience in water resources engineering.</p> </li> <li> <p>Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or ability to obtain within 6 months.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in mentoring staff and leading technical teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering top-notch service.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Competitive Compensation</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Generous Paid Time Off</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Comprehensive Health, Dental &amp; Vision Benefits</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>401(k) with Employer Match</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Company-Paid LTD, STD, and Life Insurance</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Professional Development &amp; Training</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Support for Licensure &amp; Certifications</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Employee Appreciation Events</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Engagement in Community Initiatives</strong></p> </li> </ul> <hr>
