This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong leadership experience to manage a busy frontline housing service and help deliver high-quality support to local communities.

As Housing Team Leader, you will oversee a team of approximately 7–8 officers across Housing Management and Anti-Social Behaviour services. You will provide day-to-day operational leadership, performance management, coaching, and support to ensure excellent service delivery to residents.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office presence, home working, and community-based engagement where required.

Key Responsibilities of a Housing Team Leader:
  • Lead and manage a team of Housing Officers and ASB Officers
  • Monitor team performance and ensure service targets and KPIs are achieved
  • Support tenancy management, safeguarding, and ASB case management activities
  • Handle complex housing and resident issues, providing guidance and escalation support
  • Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Build positive relationships with residents, partner agencies, and stakeholders
  • Drive service improvements and promote excellent customer service standards
About you:
  • Proven experience working within Housing Services, ideally within a Local Authority or social housing environment
  • Previous line management or supervisory experience managing teams and workloads
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy management, housing legislation, and ASB processes
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced environment
  • A customer-focused and solution-driven approach
What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary package
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
  • Permanent, stable employment within a supportive organisation
