We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Team Leader to join a forward-thinking Housing Association in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong leadership experience to manage a busy frontline housing service and help deliver high-quality support to local communities.
As Housing Team Leader, you will oversee a team of approximately 7–8 officers across Housing Management and Anti-Social Behaviour services. You will provide day-to-day operational leadership, performance management, coaching, and support to ensure excellent service delivery to residents.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office presence, home working, and community-based engagement where required.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Team Leader:- Lead and manage a team of Housing Officers and ASB Officers
- Monitor team performance and ensure service targets and KPIs are achieved
- Support tenancy management, safeguarding, and ASB case management activities
- Handle complex housing and resident issues, providing guidance and escalation support
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and procedures
- Build positive relationships with residents, partner agencies, and stakeholders
- Drive service improvements and promote excellent customer service standards
About you:- Proven experience working within Housing Services, ideally within a Local Authority or social housing environment
- Previous line management or supervisory experience managing teams and workloads
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management, housing legislation, and ASB processes
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced environment
- A customer-focused and solution-driven approach
