About the Role
Network IT is currently recruiting for an experienced IDAM Infrastructure Engineer to provide expert design, operational support and administration of identity, access management and certificate services within a secure government environment.<br> <br>This role requires strong technical expertise across on-premises Active Directory, Microsoft Azure / Entra ID and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), supporting business critical platforms to ensure resilience, compliance and secure authentication services.<br> <br>You will work alongside a skilled technical team supporting government platforms and services, contributing to both BAU operations and project delivery.<br><strong> </strong><br><strong>Please note that this is a DV Cleared role, so you must be a British Citizen, ideally holding DV level clearance. </strong><br><strong> </strong><br><strong>Role: IDAM Infrastructure Engineer</strong><br><strong>Duration: 6 Months</strong><br><strong>Status: Inside IR35</strong><br><strong>Rate: £590 per day</strong><br><strong>Location: Milton Keynes</strong><br><strong>Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days onsite usually)</strong><br><strong> </strong><br><strong>Key Responsibilities and Skills: </strong><br><ul><li>Design, support and troubleshoot Active Directory environments</li><li>Strong knowledge of AD: Forests, domains, trusts, Group Policy, DNS and AD security hardening</li><li>Hybrid Identity management between on-prem AD and Azure cloud</li><li>Support identity federation, RBAC, Conditional Access and Zero Trust technologies</li><li>Administer PKI services and certificate lifecycle management</li><li>Ensure services meet security, compliance and governance standards</li><li>Automate identity and certificate management tasks using PowerShell </li><li>Desirable certifications: MCSE, MCSA, SC-300 and AZ-104</li><li>Must be a British Citizen</li><li>This is a DV Cleared role</li></ul>
