About the Role
We are seeking a capable Engineering Manager to support the delivery of complex infrastructure and engineering programmes within a regulated, high-assurance setting. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in defence, nuclear, construction, or other safety-critical industries - including those transitioning from military service.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in overseeing engineering delivery, ensuring that solutions are safe, compliant, and aligned with strict governance frameworks. Working alongside a wide range of stakeholders, you will contribute to technically complex programmes where precision, accountability, and leadership are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support engineering and infrastructure programme delivery
Conduct and contribute to technical design reviews
Ensure compliance with rigorous safety, security, and quality standards
Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Support assurance activities and governance processes across the project lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in infrastructure or engineering programme delivery
Proven background in design reviews and engineering assurance
Ability to operate effectively in highly regulated environments
Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
Willingness to work primarily onsite in Berkshire
Desirable Experience
Background in defence, nuclear, construction, or major projects
Familiarity with high-hazard or secure environments
Understanding of engineering governance, configuration control, and compliance frameworks
Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. civil or similar discipline)
