About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher,  who is looking for a long term role in a secondary school in the Clitheroe area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

This well-regarded secondary school offers a supportive atmosphere with a strong focus on student achievement and staff wellbeing. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to delivering engaging and inspiring education.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 with a Biology specialism
• Plan engaging practical and theory-based learning activities
• Prepare students for GCSE Science examinations
• Differentiate lessons to support all learners
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly
• Maintain high standards of laboratory safety
• Support curriculum development within the Science department
• Use assessment data to drive achievement
• Contribute to enrichment and extracurricular activities
• Promote a passion for Science across the school

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous UK secondary school teaching experience
• Biology specialism with KS4 teaching experience
• Strong practical classroom management skills
