JOB ADVERTISEMENT: SEMH LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (LSA) Location: Canvey Island Salary: £88- £130 per day Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-time Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our secondary schools in Canvey Island. Starting in September, you will play a critical role in supporting students, helping them engage positively with their education and achieve their full potential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEMH needs. Assist teaching staff in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Implement personalized learning plans and strategies. Use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere. Foster emotional well-being and resilience in students.
