Job role

A growing technology-led business is looking for a Data Platform Manager to join a newly created role focused on understanding and improving how data moves across the organisation.
This isn't a reporting, BI or Power BI position. Instead, you'll work across complex systems and applications to understand data lineage, system dependencies and data flows, helping to improve efficiency, visibility and governance.
Responsibilities
Map and document data flows, workflows and system dependencies
Analyse SQL databases and stored procedures to understand system behaviour
Work with Software Engineers to uncover technical and business logic
Identify opportunities to improve processes, integrations and data quality
Produce clear technical documentation and process maps
What We're Looking For
Strong SQL expertise and experience analysing complex data environments
Experience with data lineage, workflow mapping or system dependencies
Exposure to enterprise-scale data platforms
Strong understanding of how systems, applications and data interact
Experience working closely with software engineering teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills
