About the Role
We are looking for an analytical Compliance Officer with previous experience in data protection and GDPR governance, who is seeking to join a Birmingham based company and one of the leading organisations in its sector in a data protection role. Data protection and compliance are a vital part of any business, and this role specialises in information governance within a busy and supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing advice on data breaches within the company, completing SARs (Subject Access Requests), and compiling all relevant information relating to data and breaches. This role requires up to date knowledge of current data protection legislation to help support, protect, and ensure the business remains fully compliant. The role also involves delivering information governance and data protection work, while supporting clients with Freedom of Information requests. This is a varied role where you can further develop your GDPR and compliance knowledge. It would be suitable for someone from a legal, compliance, or administration background.
