About the Role

<p>Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Property Paralegal to join a legal firm’s newly established office in South Lanarkshire.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing team, where you will play an integral role in supporting a busy conveyancing department. Applicants must have prior experience in Scottish conveyancing and a strong understanding of Scottish property law.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p><strong>Property Transactions:</strong><br /> Provide support across the full lifecycle of residential and commercial transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.</p> <p><strong>Documentation:</strong><br /> Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, title deeds, and leases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.</p> <p><strong>Client &amp; Stakeholder Liaison:</strong><br /> Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties, delivering clear and timely updates.</p> <p><strong>File Management:</strong><br /> Maintain accurate and well-organised case files, ensuring all documentation is current and deadlines are consistently met.</p> <p><strong>Land Registration:</strong><br /> Assist with Land Register applications, ensuring all submissions meet current regulatory requirements.</p> <p><strong>Financial Support:</strong><br /> Support the preparation of completion statements, client accounts, and other financial aspects of conveyancing transactions.</p> <p><strong>Administrative Duties:</strong><br /> Provide general administrative support, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and drafting correspondence on behalf of solicitors.</p> <p>Essential Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a Conveyancing Paralegal role or similar within a legal or property environment.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of Scottish conveyancing and property law.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li> <li>High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.</li> <li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.</li> </ul> <p>What’s on Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.</li> <li>Genuine opportunities for career progression within a growing firm.</li> <li>A supportive, team-oriented working environment.</li> <li>Ongoing training and professional development.</li> <li>Early finish on Fridays.</li> </ul> <p>If you are passionate about property law and looking to advance your career within a forward-thinking firm, we would be keen to hear from you.
