BMS Service Engineer
Location: South & Central London
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
About the Role
An established and growing Building Management Systems specialist is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join its expanding service division.
This field-based role combines planned and reactive maintenance with small works and project support across commercial and mixed-use sites throughout South & Central London, with occasional travel to surrounding areas including Surrey, Berkshire and Croydon.
The position offers exposure to a range of BMS platforms including Trend, Tridium, Distech and Delta Controls, alongside ongoing training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs
- Diagnose and resolve faults across BMS systems
- Support small works, upgrades, and system improvements
- Assist with commissioning activities where required
- Produce service reports and technical documentation
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota (approx. 1 in 5 weeks)
- Identify remedial and upgrade opportunities on client sites
Experience Required
Essential:
- Experience within the BMS / Building Controls industry
- Strong service and fault-finding background
- Experience with Trend systems
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Exposure to Tridium / Niagara systems
- Small works or commissioning experience
- HVAC / mechanical plant knowledge

Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £55,000
- Car allowance circa £4,800 per annum
- Overtime available:
- Saturday: time-and-a-half
- Sunday: double time
