Are you an experienced Personal Tax Senior or Manager looking to join a friendly, supportive and well established independent accountancy practice where you'll be valued as an individual rather than just a number?

We're recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded independent Chartered Accountancy practice in Sevenoaks that has built an excellent reputation for providing a personal, high quality service to its loyal client base. This is primarily a personal tax compliance role, managing your own portfolio of private clients while delivering an exceptional level of client service.

Alongside your compliance responsibilities, there will be the opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge by getting involved in:

• Trust tax compliance and administration
• More complex personal tax advisory work
• Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning
• Ad hoc tax projects and technical research

As this is a smaller independent practice, there is also the opportunity to gain exposure to wider general practice work during quieter periods, including statutory accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns. This makes it an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload and would like to broaden their experience beyond tax.

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice in a Personal Tax Senior or Manager position
• ATT or CTA qualified would be advantageous, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered
• Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive, organised and client focused approach
• An interest in developing broader tax advisory and general practice experience would be beneficial, but is by no means essential
