Lien Waiver Specialist, AP Assistant

Position: AP/ Lien Waiver Specialist Location: Scottsdale, 85258 Setting: 100% on site  Pay: $21 - $25/hour Hours: Full-time We’re looking for a detail?oriented Lien Waiver Specialist to support our Accounts Payable team. In this role, you’ll manage lien waivers end?to?end—ensuring accurate preparation, timely vendor follow?up, proper documentation, and smooth invoice releases for payment. What You’ll Do Identify the correct lien waiver type based on contract requirements Prepare and send vendor-facing waiver documentation Track, follow up on, and record signed waivers Release invoices tied to completed waivers to keep payments on schedule Maintain organized records and audit trails Partner with AP, project/contract teams, and vendors to resolve discrepancies Assist with statement review and light invoice processing during downtime What You Bring 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience with strong invoice workflow knowledge Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Clear written/verbal communication for vendor coordination Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow established processes Preferred Experience processing lien waivers (construction industry a plus) Familiarity with waiver types and state-specific requirements Experience with electronic document management systems
