Our client is a global leader in integrated solutions for the airport/aviation industry. With design and consulting teams across Europe, Africa, and Asia, the company delivers high-impact airside infrastructure projects worldwide.
To strengthen its European Design & Consulting team, ADB Safegate is currently looking for a Designer based in Belgium.
Functie
Your main responsibilities include:
- Managing airside design and consulting projects from concept to execution
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams (designers, technicians, external consultants)
- Producing and reviewing technical reports, engineering calculations, and design documentation
- Developing airside infrastructure designs (lighting, signage, markings, cabling, AVDGS systems, etc.)
- Preparing bill of quantities and technical specifications for tendering and project execution
- Ensuring compliance with ICAO standards and aviation regulations
- Providing technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases
- Communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting design solutions
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in tools, processes, and systems
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Profiel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design projects (aviation/airport industry strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Good understanding of airside infrastructure and airport operations is a strong asset
- Fluent in English
- Based in Belgium or willing to relocate
