Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker seeking an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? The Children's Resource Service in Southampton is looking for an enthusiastic QSW to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to assess and support children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and relevant agencies.
Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their needs are met.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
