Job Description: TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist – Distribution to support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs across our distribution center operations - Wellford, SC. This role partners with operations leadership to drive OSHA compliance, deliver safety training, conduct audits, and continuously improve workplace safety in a fast-paced distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct OSHA compliance audits, safety inspections, and EHS assessments in a distribution/warehouse environment. Deliver safety training on behavior-based safety (BBS), powered industrial trucks (PIT/forklifts), fall protection, ergonomics, and general safety policies. Perform ergonomic evaluations for existing workstations, new processes, and capital projects. Support and participate in site-wide safety initiatives, including safety champion programs, safety meetings, and Safety Week. Assist management in conducting weekly safety audits and behavior-based safety observations. Partner with leadership on incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collect, analyze, and report EHS data, safety metrics, and trends to recommend process and environmental improvements. Maintain accurate safety documentation, training records, and audit reports. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 3+ years of EHS, safety, or environmental health experience in a distribution, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety audits, and incident investigation processes Strong time management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification CPR, First Aid, and AED certification Experience with powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and PIT training Familiarity with behavior-based safety programs Experience using Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, EHS, Industrial Safety, or related field (preferred, not required) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods within a distribution center Perform repetitive hand and wrist motions, fine motor tasks, and power grasping Occasionally bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs (team lifts required for heavier loads) Ability to work in varying temperature conditions TTI is a world-class leader in design, manufacturing and marketing of Power Tools, Hand Tools, Outdoor Power Equipment, and Floor Care and Appliances for consumers, professional and industrial users in the home improvement, repair and construction industries.
