Teaching Assistant – Primary SEND School (Crawley) We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary special needs school in Crawley. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a small, nurturing classroom environment. The Role: Supporting pupils with a variety of SEND needs, including both verbal and non-verbal children Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs Helping to manage and respond to challenging behaviour in a calm and supportive manner Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and social development Working closely alongside the class teacher and other Teaching Assistants to create a positive learning environment Key Details: Hours: 8:30am – 3:45pm Pay: £92.63 per day Small class sizes, allowing for more focused support Opportunity for temporary-to-permanent positions for the right candidate Requirements: A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach Willingness to support children with complex needs and behaviours Strong teamwork skills and the ability to take direction from teaching staff Must be fully cleared through Pink Tile Education Recruitment Process:There is no formal interview process.
