As a Senior Business Analyst – Cybersecurity & Data Compliance, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, specializing in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. You will help streamline cross-border data transfer approvals and ensure adherence to international regulations, contributing to our client’s mission to safeguard data integrity across 72 HSBC countries and third parties. Your main responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end process of Data Visa requests, including pre-screening, documentation, and submission across multiple stakeholders.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Teams, and Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements and facilitate approvals.
Manage local and international regulatory compliance, legal, and privacy assessments for cross-border data sharing.
Review local conditions and restrictions, propose remediation strategies, and ensure all approvals are obtained and documented accurately.
Coordinate meetings with stakeholders to clarify initiatives, track progress, and resolve issues efficiently.
Document process improvements, optimize workflows, and present data analysis to senior management.
Handle multiple Data Visa requests simultaneously with high organizational skills.
Maintain trackers to monitor approval statuses and ensure timely processing of all cases.
Ensure ongoing compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy regulations globally.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, particularly within cybersecurity, compliance, or data governance.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, data sharing policies, and cross-border data transfer standards.
Proficiency in facilitation, stakeholder management, and collaborative decision making.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage meetings independently.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience working with document repositories such as Confluence and SharePoint, and ticketing tools like JIRA and ServiceNow.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
Relevant certifications in business analysis, cybersecurity, or data privacy.

Excellent command of English.
