A leading regional distributor of welding equipment and industrial supplies is seeking a reliable, safety-driven Route Driver to support deliveries throughout the Texarkana area. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on exposure to welding, metal fabrication, or industrial environments who takes pride in safe operations and strong customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver welding equipment, industrial gases, and related supplies to metal fabrication shops and industrial customer sites
- Use working knowledge of welding and metalworking processes to ensure accurate, efficient deliveries
- Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles in full compliance with DOT and company regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and properly use all required PPE and safety equipment
- Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing the company on each delivery
- Accurately complete delivery logs, paperwork, and required documentation
- Follow all safety policies and participate in ongoing safety training
Requirements
- Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) endorsement
- Safe driving history and ability to pass a DOT physical
- Prior experience with welding, metal fabrication, or industrial deliveries preferred
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
- Solid communication skills and a customer-first mindset
