The scope will vary due to Client needs.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Specific Job Task </strong>– The Datacentre Design Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and providing critical technical guidance throughout various phases of data centre projects. This role involves collaboration with both internal and external teams, leading specialized workgroups, and making essential design decisions to ensure project success</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></span> <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">        </span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manage and review design documents and drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure cohesive project execution.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide technical expertise and advice on data centre design, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead workgroups focused on design improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost reduction strategies.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure projects meet operational requirements, budget constraints, and timelines.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Qualifications and Experience:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Over 10 years of experience in mission-critical facility projects, with a strong focus on data centres.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proven track record of managing complex design projects from concept to completion.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Deep understanding of mechanical systems, electrical infrastructure, and cooling solutions for data centres.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy efficiency standards.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience in international projects and working with diverse teams.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong></p> <p>Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion &amp; Belonging: <br /></strong></span> <br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We want you to be able to bring your best self to work every day which is why we take equality and inclusion seriously and hold ourselves to account for our actions.
