We want you to be as happy as possible here at Sellick Partnership, so we will reward you in a number of ways. From our established training & development programme to our three companywide events held each year, we are proud of the rewards and benefits we offer our employees.

We encourage recognition of hard work and have a number of initiatives and schemes available so that everyone can be rewarded for their efforts, as well as enjoy a healthy work-life balance. Click on the tiles below to find out more about each of our SP Benefits.

We offer a range of financial rewards to all of our employees including:

  • Competitive market salaries
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Bonuses for Central Services and Sales Support teams
  • Employee loans

Sellick Partnership offer an extremely competitive commission structure which is uncapped with no minimum threshold, meaning there is no limit to the amount of commission that you can make.

We have two schemes - one for temp billers and one for perm billers.

A pension may form part of your long-term financial planning with a personal pension being paid on top of the state pension when you retire. In 2012 the Government introduced plans for auto-enrolment to help employees plan for their retirement.

We currently operate a salary sacrifice scheme which is a tax efficient way to make contributions into your pension plan. You agree to give up part of your basic salary (not including car allowance or commission) which is paid directly into your pension. The amount is taken from your gross salary and means you do not pay tax or National Insurance (NI) on that amount.

The Sellick Partnership scheme is run through Royal London who are the largest life and pensions mutual in the UK based in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Recognising and rewarding the contributions of our people is something we genuinely care about. We believe that celebrating success helps to build confidence, boost morale and create a culture where everyone feels valued. We have several initiatives in place to reward and recognise our employees including:

  • Stars of SP
  • Wheel of Success
  • Long service awards
  • Internal staff referral bonuses
  • Colleague Kudos

Each year, we also host our End of Financial Year Awards. This even is a fantastic opportunity for the entire business to come together and celebrate the achievements of individuals and teams. It’s a key event in our calendar where we recognise outstanding performance and the collective efforts that contribute to our success.

Our success fully depends on the quality and expertise of our people, which is why training and development is absolutely central to our business and our plans for growth.

Training and development is really important to us - it’s part of our commitment to continuous improvement and allows us to attract and retain the very best people.

Training needs are reviewed regularly through monthly one-to-ones with your Manager and through your personal development plan (PDP), ensuring support is tailored to your individual goals and aspirations.

We offer a range of internal and external training courses, from technical recruitment skills right through to leadership and management training so you feel supported every step of the way.

Our training and development programmes are led by Group Director Ray Wareing, whose hands-on experience and industry insight ensures that all training remains practical, relevant and aligned to real-world challenges.

We recognise that there is more to your life than just work and acknowledge that having a healthy work/life balance is really important. At Sellick Partnership, we have a number of schemes in place to allow you this flexibility so you can make time to socialise, unwind with family and friends, as well as pursue your interests and hobbies.

  • Flexible working hours
  • Flexible working location
  • Work from anywhere policy for up to one week per year
  • General holiday allowance of 25 days per year
  • Extra annual leave in line with length of employment
  • Extra annual leave for a marriage or civil partnership
  • Options to buy and sell holidays
  • Reduced hours for bank holidays and special occasions
  • Birthday treats

We all like to relax and unwind, and take the opportunity to socialise with each other away from the office. At Sellick Partnership we enjoy a variety of social events throughout the year, which we encourage everyone to get involved in.

  • Team and office socials – held regularly across all our offices, giving teams the chance to catch up and spend time together outside of work.
  • Summer Ball – an annual event held each July to celebrate our successes from the first half of the financial year. This includes an overnight stay and is a key date in the Sellick Partnership social calendar.
  • Elite Lunches & Events – invite-only events held throughout the year to recognise and reward outstanding sales performance, offering top performers the opportunity to spend time with the Board in a more exclusive setting.
  • Christmas Awards Party – a highlight of the year, held at one of Manchester’s leading venues to celebrate the end of the financial year. The evening recognises individual and team achievements, outstanding performance and long service milestones, alongside great food, entertainment and the chance to celebrate together.

Making sure all of our employees have a healthy mind and body is really important to us and we have implemented a range of schemes to ensure you maintain your health and wellbeing.

  • Medicash health cash plan
  • Medicash Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Aviva Personal Accident Cover
  • Bike 2 Work Scheme
  • Free food and drink in each office

A strong sense of community is deeply embedded in the way we work. From everyday interactions to shared experiences across teams, there’s a genuine spirit of connection that brings people together. Whether we are building business relationships, supporting a cause or simply enjoying time as colleagues, these moments reflect a culture built on collaboration, mutual support and shared values. Our dedicated CSR Committee also plays a key role in driving initiatives across the business, helping us make a positive impact both internally and in the wider community.

"Before joining, what attracted me was that I could see that Sellick Partnership was full of really good people, but they retained a lot of them. There were quite a lot of people that had great tenure – that meant the business was able to accommodate them."

"I believe in being bold and taking risks. Building teams, encouraging people to step out of their comfort zones, and embracing new ideas have all played a part in our success."

"There’s a genuine feeling that we’re all working towards the same goals, not just for us personally, but for the teams and business as well. Everyone’s so driven, and you get that from every Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director, and Group Director."

"What made me come back to Sellick Partnership was the constant connection I maintained with the team, even while I was away. That spoke volumes about the values and culture here – it’s a place where you genuinely feel a sense of belonging."

"I’m very lucky to be in one of the most unique positions within Sellick Partnership where I have an overview of all the teams in the business."

"Five years down the line, and I’m still here - in a new role, with more skills and development opportunities, which all stem from the support provided by the management team here."

"My 23k month was a big one! It made me realise the potential there is to earn a lot of money at Sellick Partnership due to the uncapped commission structure."

“Making the move to Sellick Partnership felt like a step up straight away. The business had a more professional feel and a stronger reputation, and I could see it was a place where people were genuinely supported to progress.”

"During conversations with employees, I got the impression that the staff had all been here for a long time, retention was strong - there had to be a reason for this."

"Each month the teams have a review with their Line Manager, this is a really essential time for us as we don't just talk about how our previous month has been but also chat about wellbeing and mental health."

"When you make your first placement it is so exciting, the buzz of finding someone their dream job and also knowing you are doing a good job for your client, I will never get over that feeling and I still get it to this day, knowing you’re helping people is the best thing ever."

"I think there comes a point when you also realise the impact you can have on people’s lives, by connecting them with the right opportunity. It’s so powerful!"

"At Sellick Partnership, there are so many different routes for progression that you really are in control of what you do and where you go. For example, you don’t need to go down the people management route if you don’t want to, you can take a different approach and go into business development. It really is so varied."

“I got a real understanding of how much they were all invested in the business and the amount of opportunity that is available here is massive.”

Within our recruitment teams we offer a variety of opportunities – all of which are integral to the success of the business. So whether you join us as a fresh graduate or as an experienced recruiter there is a career path for you.
