About the role: Justteachers are working with a Bradford secondary school to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join its dedicated Humanities faculty. This is a full-time role to start in September 2026 and run on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department that plays a vital role in shaping students’ understanding of religion, ethics, and philosophy in a diverse and multicultural context. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a broad and balanced History curriculum aligned with national standards and school values Teach to KS4 Inspire students through creative and inclusive teaching strategies Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and resource development Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong academic background in History or a related discipline Proven ability to teach History across a range of abilities and age groups Excellent classroom management and communication skills Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice Two school-based references
