As a Controls Engineer you will work as part of a multi-disciplined team developing PLC-based control systems for exhaust gas management products.

You will have experience in:

- IEC61131 PLC programming

Also support the electrical and controls design activity including:

- Cost / benefit analysis of design solutions

- Specification of components

- Preparation of electrical schematics

- Supervision of prototype product fabrication

- Support of product test in the factory and on customer sites

You will take a rigorous and structured approach to hardware and software design, utilising appropriate methods and following relevant European and international standards.

In addition experience of Microsoft Visual Studio (VB.net or C#) would be an advantage.

You will have a minimum qualification of HND or equivalent in electronics, computer science or a related discipline and have at least five years experience working in a similar environment.

Alternatively, if your qualification is at degree level, three years experience is likely to be sufficient. This experience will preferably have been gained in either the semiconductor equipment or process industries.
