Your Tasks

  • Design, develop, and test electronic systems and components for subsea applications.
  • Support the integration of electronics into pressure housings, seafloor landers, telemetry buoys, and other modular systems.
  • Cross-functional collaboration within the R&D and project team to ensure seamless interaction between hardware and software in our products.
  • Deriving requirements (HW/Test) and collaborating in the execution of systematic HW tests, incl. documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in electronic systems, ensuring reliability and performance under harsh marine conditions.
  • Assist in the production process, including assembling and testing prototypes, as well as optimizing existing designs.
  • Document designs, testing procedures, and results, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Research and implement innovative technologies to enhance system performance and functionality.

Your Profile

  • A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, with hands-on experience in PCB layout and development.
  • Familiarity with marine electronics or ruggedized systems is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to technical challenge.
  • Good planning skills and experience in estimating work packages.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support installations, testing, or client projects
