Job Order # 57318 Branch: 51 TMD Staffing is looking to hire Mechanical Assemblers in the North side of Houston, 77064 area! WORK ENVIRONMENT In-Person, Shop/Warehouse RESPONSIBILITIES Performs gearbox assembly and testReads blueprints, calipers, and other measuring instruments, records dimensions, and other details on production logsCleans and maintains work area and equipment organized, including toolsMaintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWorks with other facility teams (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to ensure that assembly/test problems are addressed and resolved quicklyComply with all Company and HSE policies and proceduresUtilize safe work habits at all timesPerform other work-related tasks as assignedQUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCEMUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS (WRITTEN & VERBAL)PREVIOUS FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED, NOT REQUIREDMUST HAVE IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY TO START, IF SELECTEDMust be able to read assembly blueprints in English formatMust be willing and able to work overtime and occasional weekends as requiredAbility to solve practical problems and work with limited standardizationWorking knowledge of shop safety practicesUnderstanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house trainingAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentAdaptability and willingness to be cross trainedAbility to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing settingComfortable working in a factory environment with temperature variationsPhysically capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and repetitive movements for up to 12 hours per dayMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsPass drug screen, criminal background and e-verify checkHave HS diploma or GED PAY $22-28.43/hour, DOE SCHEDULE 6am-4pm, Mon-Fri, must be flexible to work OT and weekends as needed WHO IS TMD STAFFING?
