About the Role

As Chief Officer on board our Jack-up vessels, you are in charge of the navigation team in a 12 hour watch under supervision of the Captain. Serving as the Captain’s right-hand person and acting as his or her substitute in their absence. You are responsible for safe and efficient Jacking operations and deck management.

Sr. Project Engineer GTec

GIS Engineer

G-tec is a specialized contractor and consultant in Geophysics, Engineering Geology and Environment. G-tec operates around the world on land and at sea with a highly qualified and motivated team of civil engineers, earth scientists, hydrographers, biologists and electronic engineers providing efficient and innovative solutions for ground investigation and hydrographic surveys, completely in line with the client's demands and requirements.

As GIS Engineer, you will be part of the multipurpose GIS department with specialization in the geophysical, geotechnical and environmental fields in which G-Tec is active. You will also be fully involved in projects as a specialist in cartography, data management & analysis, data design and management.

Your role will mainly be performed from the G-Tec office in Milmort and at our client’s premises.

Works Manager

As a Works Manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of the works on site. You can rely on a team of site superintendents and project engineers. You report directly to the project manager. You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day to day issues.

We are currently looking for an experienced Works Manager who can manage (large) offshore subsea cable installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.

Deck Foreman Trainee - Fallpipe Vessel

As a Deck Foreman Trainee on our Fallpipe vessels or Stone dumping vessels, you learn how to build up the fallpipe, in order to execute our offshore activities in good order. You work together with the deckhand team. You are interested in becoming a supervisor and become a Deck Foreman in the future.

Technical Equipment Supervisor

The Technical Equipment Supervisor (TES), is the main responsible person for the technical state of the Cable Burial Tool (CBT), whether on the vessel during operations or on shore during maintenance and modifications. The TES is also the main responsible person on the vessel to execute burial in accordance with the agreed burial methodology and has a key role in the optimization of the burial process, improvement program for the trencher and the training of the operational crew.
