This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially minded Innovation & Culinary Chef to join a business that is passionate about food, innovation and delivering market-leading solutions to customers across multiple channels.
Working as part of a highly collaborative Innovation team, you will play a key role in identifying emerging trends, creating exciting new concepts and bringing products from idea through to commercial reality.
About the Role
- Create and develop innovative food concepts in line with customer briefs, market trends and business objectives
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and build strong long-term relationships
- Deliver engaging product presentations and culinary demonstrations alongside the wider Innovation team
- Stay ahead of emerging food, ingredient and consumer trends, translating insights into commercially viable opportunities
- Support the continuous improvement and optimisation of existing products and concepts
- Collaborate with Technical, Commercial, Operations and NPD teams throughout the development process
- Develop a thorough understanding of manufacturing capabilities, processes and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate development records and support the effective management of development projects
About the Candidate
- Previous experience in a culinary, development chef, innovation chef or product development role within food manufacturing
- Passionate about food, ingredients and emerging consumer trends
- Strong understanding of product development from concept through to launch
- Comfortable presenting ideas and concepts to both internal stakeholders and customers
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance creativity and practicality
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Hands-on approach with a genuine enthusiasm for creating and developing new food concepts
