<p><strong>CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE</strong></p><p><strong>SOUTH YORKSHIRE</strong></p><p><strong>Salary up to £28,586 + Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Hours: 8.30am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8.30am-4.30pm Friday.</strong></p><p>Our Client is a well-established, innovative and successful designer of primary packaging for major brands in a variety of market sectors in the UK and Overseas. <br />Currently recruiting for a Customer Services Executive to join their award-winning team to reinforce their strong reputation for combining traditional manufacturing expertise with modern, efficient technology to support niche markets worldwide.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Processing all customer requests in a timely and accurate manner</li><li>Using CRM system to record all correspondence and information</li><li>Chasing and recording forecast information and liaising with Account Managers, Demand Planning and Resort</li><li>Provide support for Account Manager and deal with all correspondence in their absence</li><li>Ensure all Authorisations to Produce are sent and received according to procedure and stock is cleared within the agreed timeframe</li><li>Order entry and liaise with customers on stocks/deliveries/charges and Pro-Forma invoicing</li><li>Maintenance of Customer Pricing</li><li>Prepare small volume quotations and follow up/record feedback</li><li>Obtaining of freight quotations, liaising and booking freight with forwarders to ensure timely collections and export deliveries</li><li>Updating the export freight charges spreadsheet to monitor expenses and profits on export freight</li><li>Filing of paperwork and export documentation, checking all paperwork is correct and liaising with forwarder/customer if any changes are needed</li><li>Ensure all legal documentation requirements are satisfied for export trade</li><li>Staying informed about any updates to international trade procedures, such as changes to Incoterms, tariff codes, geopolitical conflicts that may affect lead times for customers</li><li>Participate in Customer visits as appropriate</li><li>Attend monthly Sales Support Review</li><li>Any other reasonable duties as required</li></ul><p>Person Specification:</p><ul><li>Proven experience with export documentation (Export Master preferred)</li><li>Minimum 5 years' commercial experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing sales environment</li><li>Strong commercial awareness and customer focus</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level)</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to structure and manage reports effectively</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks systematically</li><li>Ability to respond to customer needs, take ownership, and work effectively within a small team</li><li>Professional, motivated, and results-driven, with a commitment to company values and standardsExcellent attention to detail</li><li>Promotes and is passionate about the values and standards of the business.</li></ul>
