About the Role

- Early Childhood - Elementary Job Title: Cafeteria Aide Job Status: Permanent/Full Time Contact: Daniel Salvatore, Principal E-Mail: dsalvatore@hcscrusaders.com Job Description: The Cafeteria Aide is responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and eating areas, and providing morning snack and lunch to all students. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: ∙ Assist with the morning snack and Lunch Service ∙ Assist with placing food orders and managing inventory. ∙ Prepares food and sets up serving line. ∙ Maintain equipment and good cleaning routine. ∙ Assist with maintenance of all health department inspection reports. QUALIFICATIONS: Food Safety Certification (included with training) ∙ Love of children & ability to lift 30 pounds ∙ Good organizational skills and attention to detail ∙ Good computer skills: experience in Microsoft Word and Excel ∙ Good communication skills & basic math skills ∙ Ability to work independently ∙ Ability to maintain confidential information & maintain deadlines ∙ Willingness to adapt to changes in regulations, duties, etc. Additional Information Interested and qualified candidates please send resume, cover letter, three letters of recommendation, and updated clearances (FBI fingerprint, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background) along with three references to the e-mail address above.
