<p><span style="font-size:15px;">Potential candidates must reside in the Philadelphia area </span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">The successful candidate will work from home and will be dispatched to client sites in the Philadelphia area to troubleshoot and resolve AV issues found in Board rooms and conference rooms.</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Description:</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">TEKsystems is looking for a AV Service Engineer to service their existing customers in the area. Seeking candidates who are well versed troubleshooters in Audio Video technology. Potential candidates must have experience with major AV brands such as Crestron and Biamp. Will be providing in person troubleshooting of audio video systems found in executive board rooms and conference centers. Must be professional and have the ability to interface with enterprise customers.</span><p><u style="font-size:15px;">Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related the following types of equipment and/or</u><p><u style="font-size:15px;">systems:</u><p><span style="font-size:15px;">1. Minimum of 7-8 or more years of experience with AV integration and/ or AV field service</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">2. AV troubleshooting - Looking for some who can troubleshoot and understands Crestron systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">3. Ability to reverse engineer legacy AV systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">4. Ability to debug newly built systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">5. Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with the following products and related systems:</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">o Extron equipment</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">o Biamp, QSC audio DSP products and systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">o Cisco, POLY, LOGITECH video conference systems,</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">o Luxul, NETGEAR, CISCO switches</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">o Video wall systems: Planar, UNILUMEN, LG, Samsung, Barco products and systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">6. Testing- Someone that has done testing with multimeter and can troubleshoot issues</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">7. Ability to research and specify replacement products</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">8. Intermediate to advanced AV Networking skills</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">9. Cabling and connectors: ability to crimp and solder.</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">10. Advanced knowledgeable of signal flow and low voltage electrical concepts; i.e., Ohms law</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">11. Customer interfacing- Someone that does customer service work and interfaces with customers regularly.</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Description:</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related the following types of equipment and/or systems:</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Custom Control systems: Crestron DM and NVX / AMX</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Complex audio video systems found in executive board rooms and conference centers</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Video teleconferencing equipment and systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Audio Visual over IP (AVoIP) networks for the use of audio-visual data over LAN, WAN and internet.</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Audio DSP based systems to include amplifiers, speakers and microphones</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Projection display devices and systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Video wall equipment and systems.</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Digital signage equipment and systems</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• To a lesser degree: RF Systems (analog and digital)</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Other Responsibilities</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Ability to conduct Preventative Maintenance testing</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Site surveys related to service agreement quotes</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Ability to write concise service reports and or system site surveys</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Excellent verbal and written skills</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Ability to successfully manage multiple service projects</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Ability to lead and mentor junior/intermediate level field service techs</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Education</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• A two-year diploma from a college of technical school, or equivalent experience</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• CTS certification highly preferred, or equivalent experience</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Experience:</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">3 years minimum field service experience</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Other:</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Must maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Skills:</span><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Audiovisual, Cat6, Audio, Service, Video conferencing, Installation</span></p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
