About the Role
<p>An exciting opportunity for Qualified Accountant to join an established company. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working as an integral part of the Group Accounting function.</p>
<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Budgeting and strategic planning</li>
<li>Monthly rolling forecasting</li>
<li>Flash and Actual reporting for management and financial accounting purposes</li>
<li>Fixed asset accounting and reporting of all capital expenditure</li>
<li>Monthly reporting across direct and indirect taxes</li>
<li>Expense and invoicing management and reconciliation</li>
<li>Ensuring that financial processes and controls operate effectively</li>
<li>Preparation of annual statutory financial statements</li>
<li>Stakeholder management – collaborating with local and Group managers</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Qualifications and Aptitudes</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Qualified (or nearly qualified) ACCA, ACA, or CIMA</li>
<li>Experience including statutory financial statements and tax</li>
<li>Experience with management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities</li>
<li>IT skills including SAP (training provided) and MS Office (Excel)</li>
<li>Good analysis skills, able to interpret data and then communicate findings accordingly</li>
<li>Able to establish and develop relationships at all levels within the organisation</li>
<li>High level of attention to detail</li>
<li>Resilient and flexible in the approach to work</li>
<li>Able to work under changing demands / deadlines</li>
