<p>A leading global engineering, design and environmental consultancy is seeking a <strong data-start="115" data-end="138">Principal Ecologist</strong> to join their growing team in <strong data-start="169" data-end="180">Bristol</strong><strong>.</strong> This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced <strong data-start="233" data-end="256">Principal</strong> <strong>Ecologist</strong> to work on high-profile infrastructure and environmental projects across the UK.</p>
<p>Our client is an internationally recognised consultancy delivering sustainable solutions across infrastructure, energy, and the natural environment. Their UK ecology team forms part of a wider environmental practice of over 500 specialists, working on major projects and driving innovation in biodiversity, sustainability, and ecological policy.</p>
<p><strong>The Role – </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>You will be required to lead and deliver ecological projects</li>
<li>Manage Programs and budgets</li>
<li>Support multidisciplinary teams</li>
<li>Oversee surveys, ecological impact assessments and mitigation design</li>
<li>contributing to client relationships and business development</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements –</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Ecology or a related discipline</li>
<li>Membership of CIEEM (or working towards chartership)</li>
<li>Strong experience in UK ecology, surveys, and legislation</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence</li>
<li>Full right to work in the UK</li>
<li>Must live in or near the <strong>Bristol</strong> office</li>
<li>Excellent project management and communication skills</li>
</ul>
