Your duties support patient care and well-being.</p><h4>Essential Functions of the Role</h4><ul><li>Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the safety and comfort of patients. This includes aiding with mobility and transfers.</li><li>You will assist in enforcing patient cleanliness and help with their personal hygiene under set procedures.</li><li>Part of your role will include aiding with proper dietary intake for patients, documenting consumed meals, and tracking calorie consumption.</li><li>You are expected to respond promptly to patient call lights and maintain safety measures at all times.</li><li>You'll be in charge of administering treatments and recording crucial signs of patients, within the scope of your role.</li><li>Your duties involve maintaining unit equipment, keeping bedside stations tidy, monitoring supplies, and assisting with paperwork on the unit.</li></ul><h4>Key Success Factors</h4><ul><li>Completion of a training program specific to nursing assistance which is accompanied by a skills checklist.</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminologies.</li><li>A commendable approach towards patients, characterized by friendliness, reassurance and an approachable demeanor.</li><li>Capability to accurately follow directions from medical professionals, and a well-founded understanding of patient charts and records.</li><li>Outstanding attention to detail.</li></ul><h4>Belonging Statement</h4><p>We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.</p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li>EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalent</li><li>EXPERIENCE - Less than (1) one year of experience</li><li>CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION <ul><li>Cert Nurse Assistant (CNA)</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.</li></ul></li></ul>
