We are seeking a hands-on Technology & Systems Sr. Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications supporting finance and tax-related functions. This role focuses on driving automation, improving data processes, and ensuring systems effectively support compliance, reporting, and business operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions, working with complex data, and partnering with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain business applications, system integrations, and automation solutions across finance and tax functions
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, IT, Accounting) to gather requirements and deliver scalable system solutions
- Configure, optimize, and support enterprise platforms, including ERP and specialized financial/tax systems
- Lead projects from planning through execution, including testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Support data analytics and reporting initiatives using modern tools and platforms
- Maintain system documentation, controls, and best practices; provide training to end users
- Manage user access, system updates, and vendor relationships
- Ensure systems and processes align with internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements
- Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of experience in systems, technology, or business applications within finance or related functions
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and data/automation tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, BI tools)
- Exposure to tax, compliance, or financial reporting processes is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of system implementations, integrations, and process improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate across multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
