Job Description Food Preparation: Cleaning, cutting, measuring, and mixing ingredients; prepping food for service. Cooking: Operating equipment like grills, fryers, and ovens to prepare food items according to recipes. Plating & Quality Control: Ensuring food is properly presented, garnished, and served at the correct temperature. Sanitation & Safety: Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, complying with health regulations. Inventory & Storage: Storing food at appropriate temperatures, labeling items, and checking stock levels Full time and open availability, holidays included. Qualifications Proven cooking experience (line cook, prep cook, etc.). Knowledge of health and safety sanitation regulations (e.g., ServeSafe certification). Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Organization and the ability to keep up with high-volume, high-pressure demands is a must. Preferred experience in senior living communities, hotels, catering background English and Spanish a plus.
