Defendant EL/PL Solicitor | NQ+ | Remote Working
A leading international law firm are seeking a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its highly regarded casualty injury team, handling EL/PL claims. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, well-respected defendant team managing claims valued up to £250k, with exposure to more complex and high-value matters under the guidance of experienced partners and senior lawyers.
As a Defendant EL/PL Solicitor, you will:
- Manage and progress EL/PL caseloads efficiently and in line with court deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and client SLAs/KPIs.
- Draft instructions to experts and counsel.
- Maintain clear case strategies and apply up-to-date technical and case law knowledge.
- Contribute to billing, WIP management and accurate reporting.
- Identify and escalate risk and compliance issues where appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support business development initiatives.
- Continuously develop technical expertise through training and legal updates.
About you:
- A qualified Solicitor, or CILEX Lawyer with litigation rights and experience in defendant personal injury.
- Organised and capable of managing competing priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Commercially aware and confident in client-facing situations.
