About the Role
Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.<br/><br/>Education<br/>High School Diploma or Equivalent Required<br/>Associate's Degree Preferred<br/>Bachelor's Degree Preferred<br/><br/>Experience<br/>1 year experience performing critical care interfacility transport Preferred<br/>3 years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMTParamedic Preferred<br/><br/>Licenses<br/>Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required<br/>Basic Life Support Required<br/>Paramedic Certification Required<br/>Drivers License Required<br/>EMS Vehicle Operator Required<br/>Critical Care Paramedic Cert Preferred<br/>Natl Reg.
