Ruby on Rails Engineer

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our internal team. This role is for you if you are a creative problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong understanding of Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable Ruby code, ensuring the highest level of performance and responsiveness of applications, and integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code. 2. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. 3. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. 4. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. 5. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Required Skills: 1. Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer. 2. Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery. 3. Experience developing highly interactive applications. 4. A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design. 5. Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code. 6. Good knowledge of relational databases. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque. 3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming. 4. Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful. 5. Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
