We have partnered with a renewables business who play a critical role in driving Ireland's Net Zero strategy. As the Commercial Manager, you'll lead a team of analysts in financial modelling and business case development, influencing strategic decisions across innovative businesses (EV, Smarthomes, Energy) in Ireland and the UK.
THE ROLE:
- Leading a team of commercial financial
analysts, providing support and guidance to the team, and the development
of team members. - Development and delivery of robust financial
models, including financial sensitivity analysis to identify key financial
risks and appropriate mitigants. - Assessment, challenge and enhancement of
business cases and investment decision making processes. - Providing financial / commercial support for
contract negotiations and commercial projects. - Performance of financial due diligence on
potential acquisitions or review of externally performed due diligence as
appropriate. - Management of external financial advisors
including tax, accounting and risk management.
Requirements
- A commercial mindset with effective
interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. - Strong financial modelling capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with
internal and external stakeholders, including senior and business line
managers. - Ability to leverage relationships to influence
solutions. - A third level or professional qualification,
and at least ten years relevant post qualification work experience, are
essential.
