About the Role

<p><strong>Supply Chain Specialist</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> London </p> <p><strong>Contract length:</strong> 12 months </p> <p><strong>Start date:</strong> ASAP </p> <p><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week, Monday &#8211; Friday </p> <p><strong>Pay:</strong> &pound;210 per day </p> <p></p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>We&rsquo;re looking for a <strong>Supply Chain Specialist</strong> to join a high-performing carrier sourcing and logistics team. This role sits at the heart of a complex, international supply chain operation, ensuring that carrier performance, cost efficiency, and service quality are continuously improved.</p> <p>You&rsquo;ll work closely with operational, retail, and cross-functional teams, helping to optimise end-to-end supply chain flows, improve customer experience, and support energy and cost efficiency initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys data, stakeholder management, and driving continuous improvement.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li> <strong>Continuous improvement with carriers</strong>: Identify, manage, and drive improvement plans with carrier partners to enhance performance and reliability.</li> <li> <strong>Operational problem-solving:</strong> Partner with internal teams to advise on and manage operational challenges across the supply chain.</li> <li> <strong>Project support:</strong> Support the planning and organisation of complex projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.</li> <li> <strong>Stakeholder communication:</strong> Prepare and participate in regular operational calls, business reviews, QBRs and customer service workshops, presenting insights and progress on improvement plans.</li> <li> <strong>Relationship management:</strong> Develop strong relationships with line haul providers, ensuring clear communication and visibility across the line haul network.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong><span class="ql-cursor">&#65279;</span></strong><strong>Basic requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in <strong>Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics</strong> or a related field</li> <li>Strong data analysis skills, with experience creating reports and dashboards for leadership</li> <li>Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and senior leaders</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines</li> <li>Experience in <strong>supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning</strong> </li> <li>Experience using <strong>data visualisation tools</strong> (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key skills and competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Advanced Excel &amp; SQL:</strong></li> <li>Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced Excel functions</li> <li>Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing large datasets</li> </ul> <p></p> <p></p></p>
