Their Building Services team delivers sustainable, technically robust MEP designs on a diverse portfolio of projects, including defence, education, healthcare, residential, commercial and public sector developments.<br><br> With a collaborative culture and a significant investment in technology, BIM and staff development, this is an excellent opportunity for a Senior CAD / Revit Technician looking to work on technically challenging projects while developing their career within an experienced MEP design team.<br><br> <strong>The Role</strong><br><br> As a Senior CAD / Revit Technician, you will support the delivery of high-quality building services designs by producing accurate 2D drawings and coordinated 3D Revit MEP models across a variety of new build and refurbishment projects.<br><br> Working closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects and other design disciplines, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are fully coordinated, technically accurate and delivered to programme.<br><br> <strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Produce and develop 2D AutoCAD drawings and 3D Revit MEP models.</li><ul><li>Prepare general arrangement drawings, sections, details and schedules.</li><li>Work collaboratively with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers throughout the design process.</li><li>Coordinate MEP services with architects, structural engineers and external consultants.</li><li>Ensure drawings and models are accurate, coordinated and comply with project standards.</li><li>Carry out self-checking and assist with reviewing technical drawings where required.</li><li>Follow company QA procedures and document management processes.</li><li>Deliver work to agreed project programmes and deadlines.</li><li>Support the development of junior technicians and apprentices where appropriate.</li><li>Contribute to the continual improvement of BIM processes and team workflows.</li></ul></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><br><ul><li>Previous experience as a CAD Technician or Revit Technician within Building Services or MEP Engineering.</li><ul><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.</li><li>Experience working on UK building services projects.</li><li>Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services coordination.</li><li>Experience producing coordinated MEP drawings and BIM models.</li><li>Knowledge of BIM standards and coordinated design processes.</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.</li><li>A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.</li></ul></ul><strong>Benefits</strong><br><ul><li>Competitive salary.</li><ul><li>Hybrid and flexible working.</li><li>25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.</li><li>Option to buy, sell or carry over annual leave.</li><li>Annual performance bonus (role dependent).</li><li>Company pension scheme.</li><li>Private medical insurance.</li><li>Life assurance and income protection.</li><li>Private GP access.</li><li>Discounted gym membership.</li><li>Three paid volunteering days each year.</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development.</li><li>Clear career progression opportunities within a growing multidisciplinary consultancy.</li></ul></ul><strong>Why Apply?</strong><br><br> This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary consultancies, working on a broad range of technically challenging projects with a highly experienced Building Services team.
