About the Role

<p>We have been engaged by a national mid-market full-service Investment Banking platform to bring on an experienced VP. They are currently looking for a DCM focused Investment Banker.<br /> On this platform you will have the chance to report directly to the senior MD. Additionally, you will be given a chance to start your entrepreneurial journey to originate and bring in deals. As a VP this is something that is very rarely a part of your day to day. However, on a lean team, as you execute you can build your book of business. </p> <p>What are people saying about this company?<br /> • Autonomy, given runway to build a book early on<br /> • Opportunity to rise, be seen and quickly advance<br /> • Perks of small team environment, multi service Bank and chance to work across industries</p> <p>Title: Investment Banking – Vice President<br /> Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 +Bonus<br /> Location: Chicago, IL (On-site) </p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> • Source opportunities and possibly bring on deals in the DCM area of Investment Banking<br /> • Be aware of market trends, analyze data to source new business<br /> • Learn and stay up to date about different industry verticals<br /> • Work closely with MDs, junior resources and the overall Investment Banking team<br /> • Lead the due diligence process of deals<br /> • Work with internal and external advisors of the deals<br /> • Lead transactions execution while juggling multiple projects<br /> • Client engagement, set expectations and follow through in the transaction lifecycle<br /> • Become a leader and mentor juniors on the team</p> <p>Requirements:<br /> • BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field<br /> • Anywhere between 5 yrs – 10 yrs of relevant experience, only Banking or combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory<br /> • MBA is highly preferred but not required<br /> • Debt Advisory, Restructuring and or a mix of M&amp;A experience is a must<br /> • Licenses preferred are Series 7, 79 &amp; 63<br /> • Open to travel as needed by clients,<br /> • Be onsite and in the local office<br /> • Must have a track record of leading small teams (4-6 junior Bankers)<br /> • Minimum of 5 yrs of Investment Banking experience is ideal</p>
