Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting an establish and growing accountancy firm in the recruitment of a Private Client Tax Senior to join their Private Client team based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with exposure to both compliance and advisory work across a varied private client portfolio and looking to expand their advisory work. You'll work closely with senior team members within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of private client tax advisory projects across a varied client base
• Assist with various tax planning work across a diverse client portfolio.
• Manage client compliance requirements and identify advisory opportunities
• Liaise directly with clients, third parties, and internal service lines to ensure projects progress smoothly
• Assist with onboarding new clients and preparing risk management documentation
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and identify potential client impacts

Key Requirements

• AAT or ATT qualified (non-negotiable). CTA or studying towards qualification highly beneficial
• Experience within Private Client Tax and managing a client portfolio
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proactive and keen to develop technical tax knowledge
