About the role: We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Secondary School in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, long-term supply basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to support students throughout their educational journey and play a key role in helping them achieve their academic and personal goals. Key Responsibilities: Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities Encouraging student participation, confidence, and independence Supporting students with additional learning needs where required Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning Pre-requisites: Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable) Two education or school based references Is passionate about education and supporting student development Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Can build positive relationships with students and staff Is patient, proactive, and adaptable Works well both independently and as part of a team Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people If you are interested in this role, please apply below.
